Hola amigos,
we have spent two beautiful months in
Nicaragua.
Over Christmas we volunteered at Playa Gigante,
we got a wonderful Christmas present: seeing fluorescent plankton, with the
awesome couple Kelsey and Craig, going for a night swim in the ocean.
New year’s we spent in Granada. Having fun times
with the girls we met at Playa Gigante who were so nice to let use their house
for our time being in Granada.
On beautiful Isla Ometepe we got to meet
tons of great people like Pia and Felix who happened to be from Hamburg as
well. We had a great spanish lesson and fun pizza nights at Hostal Zopilote. Also
we took a hike to the waterfall El Ramon, watched a local baseball match and
explored the island with our new friends. :)
One day before Kaddis birthday, Papa/Ruediger
and Erika came to visit us. We got to spend Kaddis birthday on an amazing
coffee farm in the mountains of Nicargua (www.jaguarreserve.org), had a boat
ride through the mangroves and hiked up Volcano Consiguina.
Our last stop before moving on to El Salvador was Leon. We spent a fun
night at a hostel for Timos birthday and got Coco ready for the long journey up
to north.
Right now we are on our way back up to Mexico with Super Mario to go meet
the next visitors Hannah and Benni.
