panama

“Pa-na-ma,” read little bear “this crate comes from Panama, and Panama smells of bananas! Oh, Panama is the land of my dreams!”

!hola!

We made our way to Panama and yes, it’s as nice as Janosch says: “it’s much more beautiful there”.

On our journey, we met a lot of wonderful people and seen beautiful places.

We stayed at Playa Venao for a long time fixing things on the bus and making him a bit more comfortable. There we had the best “vecinos al mundo”, Patricia and Esteban from Argentina. We found a wonderful home for the baby kittens we found in Chitre: Tiger, Momo and Tranquillo and the day always started with surfing.

Panama City was a huge difference to the rest of the country, tall buildings and fancy streets right next to the “not so whealthy” districts.

Playa Morillo was an amazing beach surrounded only by nature, coconuts, huge waves and racoons.

We spent the last few days in Boquete, which is known for it’s good coffee, the beautiful mountains and the parades on the weekend of the independence day of Spain. It was an incredible thing to see.

costa rica

!hola!

We have safely made our journey down through Central America to Costa Rica.

We spent a wonderful time with Mama/Ingeborg for three weeks, travelling to beautiful places like Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, Volcan Arenal, Montezuma and many more.

Next we spent three weeks working on a great farm inland of Costa Rica. Here we did lots of fun things, for example: milk goats, look for chicken eggs like it was easter and plant loads of papayas.

After about four months it was finally time for the Carribean Coast again. We spent one week at Playa Cahuita, visiting the national park and enjoying the wonderful beaches and wildlife. At the moment we are living by Playa Cocles helping with construction (mostly painting :)) and relaxing on the beach in the afternoon.

Our last stops will be Manzanillo and Punta Mona before travelling to Panama in two weeks.
